Grade 3 Assessment Plan

Grade 3 Assessment Plan

Throughout the year we will be assessing the students in a variety of ways.  These will include rubrics, checklists, quizzes, spelling tests (word wall check-ups), and teacher observations of student participation in various activities such as written tasks, hands on activities and teacher led demonstrations. Your child’s assessments will be sent home or kept at school to see the progression of learning.

We believe communication of student learning is key. Therefore during the course of the year, if there are any concerns regarding your child’s progress, we will contact you through the following forms: notes in the agenda, email, phone calls home, and in person. Please feel free to communicate any concerns with us that you may have about your child.
